Sonic Rodeo was concocted by Larry and AJ of The Rhyolite Sound during one of their many rehearsals at a downtown studio. They noticed that every space they had rehearsed in was usually in severe disrepair with mostly broken and abused equipment. They started listing all of the qualities they wish that a space had. They also reached out to their large network of friends in the music industry, asking them for a “wish list” for their ideal practice space. With the help of Davis and Reid, the end result is Sonic Rodeo: Rehearsal, Rectified.
